A Quick Combo:

Today is Thursday - Praise the Lord! Usually this day marks a very rapid close to my week and the beginning of an ever welcomed weekend. I have to close tonight at work so unfortunately its going to be a long one...but its all good. I'm grateful anyhow.

Here are some quick reminders:
Tomorrow is my mom's birthday, so if you know her well enought to a)have her number, b)regularly eat her food, or c)call her daughters your best friends, then go on and give her a call. It will surely brighten her day. Notice that those conditions were applicable even if you can only positively answer to one of the three...dont be lazy - just give her a call. (too much test prep - life is starting to turn into multiple choice, grrr...)

And here is what I wanted to say yesterday about fighting your fears. Its along the lines of Krystle's blog - fearing the future. Enjoy your weekends homies!

When you are on the right track and you have a plan, usually your accomplishments are a good thing. You want to get a degree in 4 years - by year 3 year you're patting yourself on the back because you did most of it and you're on the right track... or do you? I find myself wishing I could slow down sometimes. Its a little scary to see things going by and coming together - things I never thought would come to be so quickly.

So how do you compensate for that feeling of extreme pressure when life seems to be going by way too quickly? My theory is that you try to make up for it by slacking in another area . . . maybe thats what I'm doing. Running away in a sense from one area of my life to try and slow things down a bit.

I run away from areas in my life and I don't hink it is the best thing to do. But I understand how you feel, life does feel like its moving entirely too fast.

Just make sure that you can account for the times that you have. If your living life as it should be lived you won't want to miss a single moment.

first @ kell i like saying things about the post longer than the blog>lol It makes blogs feel special! Plus, I feel when we worry about the future that's probably when we need to focus more on Gods relationship. Right? The devil seeks and finds these things about us exploits them and never looks back. Krys mind if I call you Krys? Okay, I don't know complete situation but i think you'll be fine! Sorry Kell about the one sided ness on your comments page, okay hey Kell! How you doing Kell? have a good weekend>lol Kell>lol Okay now it's evened out... .lol

I use to be afraid of the future but now i kinda welcome it. There are many things as people that we all gotta change, work on, we might run from, etc! But, right now all I can do is rely. So, maybe I'm still a lil scared of the future, i don't know what's going to happen beyond certain points. But, all I can do in this situation is rely...
